Snorkeling and Swimming with the Rays in Grand Cayman. We took an excursion called Snorkeling and Swimming with the Rays…It was fun but a bit disappointing. The crew was in a hurry because one of the tour buses was 45 minutes late so we lost 45 minutes of snorkeling time…We were supposed to go to Sting Ray City instead we were taken to some remote location that only had 4 sting rays.
Now swimming with the Rays was fun but fighting the crowd to get to touch one was horrible. I was kicked in the head and face so many times….Look at this crowd with everyone trying to touch one of four rays…
This is just a small portion of the 100+ people who were kicking each other trying to get a feel of a ray or a photo of one. I would definitely recommend you avoid this excursion. We paid over $200 for it and it was not worth it.
The reef was so-so. Not as advertised…Not a lot of fish around…
It was fun swimming with my family…
I would recommend you avoid Reef and Rays tour..not worth the money.
